Recently, I went to a Brazilian restaurant called “Fogo De Chão” in downtown LA. I was told by my parents that it was a casual place that was basically a buffet, so I wasn’t expecting much. However, when I got there, I was completely shocked. It was a very fancy looking restaurant with nicely dressed waiters, classy music in the background, and even polished silverware with folded napkins. It was the real deal. I, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, was feeling very underdressed, but that didn’t even matter when I found out the kind of food they served. If you like meat, this is definitely the place for you. First, they had a buffet table that was self serve, filled with different fruits, salads, cheeses, vegetables, and sliced cold meats. Once you had served yourself with whatever kinds of appetizers you wanted, the waiters came around. Each waiter had a different kind of meat that they were carrying on a stick. If you wanted to try that cut of meat, they would come to you and cut you a slice. They had a wide range of meat including chicken, beef, lamb, and pork. It was nothing like I had ever experienced before, and it was awesome. If you like to eat meat and try new things, I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant!
