To converse with the greats

“To coverse with the greats” is a poem that was written by Vera Pavlova. In this poem, Vera is talking about how people try to be someone they are not. When someone finds someone that the aspire to be, they try to recreate things they have done. For example, I am a soccer player. If there is a player that I aspire to be, I will try to play like them, in hopes of becoming as good as they are. The point of this poem is to make people realize that this is not how people should go about life. If you want to be a great soccer player, don’t play like someone else, create something new! Be an inventor, not someone who copies someone’s blueprints.
